As Deep As Possible

My abstract paintings are rooted in emotion, movement, and memory. I use colour, texture, and layered brushwork to explore internal landscapes, the invisible tensions, energies, and sensations that shape human experience. Each painting begins intuitively, often without a defined form, allowing gesture and rhythm to lead the composition.

Through repetition, erasure, and reworking, I create surfaces that feel both fragile and forceful, mirroring the process of emotional transformation. The abstract language allows me to express what cannot easily be articulated the shifting states of identity, resilience, and connection that underlie our lived experience.

While my recent practice is expanding into figurative expressionism, abstraction remains the foundation of my visual language. It is where emotion first takes form, and where I continue to explore how painting can communicate what lies beneath words and the pulse of feeling, movement, and life itself.
