Anisa is an Iranian artist based in the United Kingdom whose practice explores memory, displacement, and emotional perception through painting.

After migrating from Iran to Turkey and later to the UK, her experience of transition and reconstruction became central to her artistic language. Her work has been exhibited internationally across the UK, Europe, the United States, and Iran, and she was awarded a UK Global Talent visa for her contribution to the arts.

Originally trained in hyperrealism, Anisa’s practice evolved toward a freer and more intuitive form of painting. Working primarily from memory, she creates simplified and emotionally driven images that balance fragility, distortion, and abstraction.

Her paintings investigate what remains after seeing — how people, places, flowers, and experiences survive imperfectly within memory.
